Impact
The Digital Health Research Group (DHRes) aim is to push the frontier of the state-of-the-art in digital health technologies, while bringing innovation to our region through the TrentinoSalute4.0 program and positioning our research work at national and European level for improving the digital therapies of the future.
It is our interest to investigate how our technologies provide an impact to healthcare management, the way they are appropriated by the practitioners involved, the changes in their workflows, the acceptance and level of satisfaction of both practitioners and patients as well as the informal caregivers and family volunteers.
Through our pilot and demonstration projects we investigate the short to medium term application effects of our interventions in real health care settings at local and national levels (through TrentinoSalute4.0) and at European level through our international collaborations in EU projects. In addition we foresee transfer of our solutions to the market through collaboration with Industries and creation of start-ups (i.e. MEEVA in the field of virtual reality for neuro-developmental disorders therapy).
A special focus of our activities is the design, development and testing of the future Digital Therapies. Read our position paper article on Digital Therapeutics produced in the context of the EU EIT-Health Network
